Retention principles
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfil our legal obligations. We follow a principle of minimal retention — we do not keep data longer than required.
What we retain and for how long
- Account information: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
- Transaction data: retained while your account is active to generate insights. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion or bank disconnection.
- Generated insights: retained while your account is active. Deleted with your account.
- Waitlist data: retained until the product launches or you request removal, whichever comes first.
- Analytics data: anonymised and aggregated. Not linked to your identity after collection.
How to request deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app's Profile screen. Alternatively, email us at the contact form on our website with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
What happens when you delete
- Your bank connections are immediately revoked.
- Your account data, transaction history, and generated insights are permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics data is not deleted as it cannot be linked back to you.
Secure disposal
All data deletion is performed securely. We use industry-standard methods to ensure data cannot be recovered after deletion.
